My love of all things girly started at a very young age, I have vivid memories of my mum always looking impossibly glamorous every day of my childhood with foundation, mascara and lipstick applied and hair "done". As my mum always said "you never know who your going to meet". Now at the age of 75 (sorry mum) she's still just the same, polished, beautiful and my inspiration.
So...me! I always liked to buy quality makeup, even if it did mean saving for it. I still have the Clinique silver powder compact that I proudly bought at age 17. Now my kit is full of premium products such as Chanel, Mac, Laura Mercier, Bobbi Brown, Benefit, YSL, Dior, Estee Lauder, Smashbox, Gemma Kidd and many more which all help to create a long lasting flawless look.
I started my training and career in makeup over 20 years ago with Elizabeth Arden and always loved making over ladies to show them how to gain the best from the products. Three years later I moved over to Yves St Laurent and fell in love with their products too.
After leaving the cosmetics industry and working in the City for over 10 years I finally took the plunge to follow my creative heart and start working full time for myself as a Makeup Artist and Specialist Hairdresser almost 8 years ago and I have never looked back.
I have worked on many, many brides and love creating anything from a natural glowing look to smoky eyes combined with classic updo's, relaxed romantic curls, fishtails or side buns to name but a few, it really is up to you! I use premium non slip hair grips and bands, combined with styling products and sprays from Toni & Guy, Bumble and Bumble, Schwarzkopf, Charles Worthington etc... to ensure your style stays put all day.
I love my job, it's the best feeling in the world to be part of one of the happiest days of a girls life and I hope to be part of yours too.
Oh, and I can shop for makeup and hair products as part of my job!
